Description: This position assists in the repair and maintenance of event center buildings and facilities.

Assists with event set-up; constructs and removes sets; reconfigures event spaces.

Operates a variety of hand and power tools.

Inspects center buildings and facilities for repair and maintenance needs.

Assists in the provision of lighting for events.

Locks and unlocks doors.

Coordinates part-time crews for event preparation.

Assists in repairing and maintaining plumbing systems

Makes carpentry repairs.

Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.

Responds to after-hours emergencies.

Performs minor electrical repairs.

Performs painting and drywall repair.

Maintains and repairs sprinkler systems.

Performs related duties.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.

No experience required.

Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid drivers license issued by the State of North Dakota for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
