Part-time lease - 11 year old pinto gelding

Shared time with owner.

Buddy is a 15 hand pinto gelding who needs some attention. I don't have time to ride him as often as I would like, and he gets anxious (and fat!) when he isn't ridden often, but I will not sell him. I am willing to share my boy, but only to an experienced rider who wants to ride english, either hunter or dressage. If you have some horse experience but don't want to pay for a horse, this is an opportunity to get that horse fix without the commitment.

He has trained in dressage (knows advanced work at walk and trot: half-pass, haunches in/out, walk pirouette) and has done some beginning jumping and even some cattle work a few years ago. I've had a lot of fun with my boy. His groundwork is great (natural horsemanship), and he would be excellent in horse agility for someone interested.

Lease for cost of current boarding. Buddy cannot be removed from the current boarding facility. Only experienced riders, as he remembers exactly where the last ride left off, no matter how much time has passed. Must have your own tack and supplies (brushes, halter/lead, extra-wide saddle, snaffle bit, etc.)

Preference to those willing to take regular lessons from the owner or another approved instructor (also at the boarding facility).
