Female Eclectus Parrot. Her name is Annie she is around 5 years old. Reason for selling is she needs to go to a home with a primary male caretaker. She tolerates women but definitely likes men way better. She absolutely adored my father who was taking care of her while we were on vacation unfortunately, they don't have room in their house to accommodate her cage. She isn't noisy like most parrots she makes moaning noises a lot and kissy noises. She does talk, she says What are you doing, Up, Good Morning, Good Morning Annie, Give Mama kisses Mwhaaa. She is timid and been working on stepping up, but she hasn't quite got it and will fly to bottom of cage and then steps up to your hand. She will bite if you push her to hard you just have to watch for the signs and know when to step back and leave her alone. She has never been around children. Eclectus have a very special diet since their digestive system is unique, we cook hard boiled eggs for her, bird street bistro, carrots, peas, corn on the cob is her favorite and almonds and walnuts for a treat. Very few fruits since high in sugar but she does like grapes if you cut them in half. She eats roudybush california blend pallets daily, which can only be found online.
