Weigel Funeral and Cremation Service is seeking a part time (up to 29 hours per week) detail-oriented Office Assistant to help with office tasks, memorial product design, and funeral services at our Mandan location. This position offers the opportunity to work creatively on commemorative materials that bring comfort and meaning to families. You'll work as part of a dedicated team to take care of families and their loved one during the days following a death to help create a Celebration of the Life for their loved one.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prepare funeral service materials, including funeral bulletins, bookmarks, candles, and guestbooks. Create Celebration of Life videos through user friendly funeral software. Will train the right candidate!

Work with funeral directors, office manager, church/clergy, musicians, cemeteries, luncheon facilities, flower shops, and other vendors to gather details for coordinating funeral service and creating memorial printed material.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting families and directing them to necessary areas.

Enter data into relevant paper and computer files as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.

Will use Publisher, Canva, and Word programs.

Previous administrative or assistant experience.

Graphic design experience a plus.
