42 Black Angus Bred Heifers. Heifers are the top pick from my herd. All heifers are A-I sired by Deer Valley Growth Fund. All heifers were born in March of 2023. 24 of the heifers are ultrasound safe to Tehama Tahoe with est. due date to start on 3/2/25. Remaining heifers were pasture bred to sons of EWA Peyton. Last ultrasound due date est. to be 4/15/25. All but 4 of the heifers are ultrasound-sexed calves. They were ultrasounded on 8/20/24 with an average weight on that date of 1135 pounds. No hot brands, but all heifers are freeze branded with a 3xx number. Keeping no heifers as these were going to be going into our own herd. Plans changed. We have a 100% Black Angus herd and have been for 40+ years. Would like to sell all 42 as a group. Currently still grazing grass. These are commercial heifers.
