Reason Selling: "Going back to standard calibers"
Winchester Model 70 Stainless Classic Boss! 300Win, B&C Stock, Factory Stock!
For simplicity sake I am going back to a standard-no more magnums.
For you model 70 snobs- this is the early version. Yes, it makes a difference and if you know, you know. They made this model for only 3 years, and they are collector's items.
Excellent lockup and very accurate rifle- it is bedded to the B&C, am including the original tupperware stock in the event a new owner wants to return it to factory setting.
Rifle, no bases- both stocks $1000, as well as most of a box of factory rounds.
This price is for the entire package. 100-120 brass, 69 Barnes TSX 180, 80-ish 200 grain Winchester bullets, dies and Magnum primers.
I can sell the buyer a vintage RCBS press to start their handloading adventures.
Trades: I wouldn't mind a .280 and would trade the equivalent for this. Brass, dies, etc.
Winchester only made these for a few years and they are sought after by collectors. The Boss system is really accurate, and allows the user to fine-tune the load to the rifle. If the new owner wants- I do have a thread converter which will allow a person to use 5/8x24 threaded suppressor that I will include for an additional $20, less than it cost to buy new.
General disclaimer- no felons, need an ID.
Thanks for looking!
